Objective: The aim of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of Linamood Phonological Sequencing program on the reading performance of students with specific learning disorders.
Method: multiple-baseline across subjects was selected as a research design in recent study. The investigated subjects were three boy students of the fourth grade of elementary school. History taking, the fourth edition of Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-IV), reading and dyslexia test fluency reading test and reading and dyslexia test, correct text reading test, reading time and reading comprehension test was developed by researcher, were applied in the current study.
Result: effect size and visual analysis were used to analyze the data. Results indicated a considerable difference between the baseline and intervention phase of the participants and they also indicated that the intervention resulted in considerable improvement in the three variables of word reading fluency, text reading fluency, and comprehension.
Conclusion: The Linamood Phonological Sequencing program has improved the reading performance of the subjects (reducing reading mistakes, increasing reading speed and reading comprehension). In addition, follow up data indicated that the effects of the intervention procedures were stable across time
