 Abstract: Gifted children excel in some way compared to children of their age. The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of cognitive rehabilitation of computer helper on neurocognitive silhouon of gifted students of gifted special schools in Sanandaj. This applied research was field data collection method and quasi-experimental in terms of descriptive implementation method.
Introduction: Cognitive rehabilitation, which is used to treat and rehabilitate cognitive disorders, provides health services to strengthen the affected areas or replace new patterns to compensate for the disorder. In fact, cognitive rehabilitation refers to trainings that are based on the findings of cognitive sciences and in the form of computerized cognitive games try to improve or enhance cognitive functions, all of which refer to the principle of brain flexibility. Computer assistant cognitive rehabilitation is based on basic information processing system and displays feedback of individual abilities and self-efficacy and can design an educational program according to individual abilities. In this treatment method, first, basic skills are improved and it becomes more difficult to fit the exercises and provide the therapist with a report on the rate of progression in training. The statistical population consisted of 112 talented boys' schools in Sanandaj in the academic year of 2019 - 2019, of which 18 (9 in the experimental group and 9 in the control group) were randomly selected as the sample size.
Methods: The data collection tool consisted of Captain Log Cognitive Rehabilitation Software (version 2014) and Kizer Neuropsychological Profixity Questionnaire (2004). The validity of these questionnaires was confirmed by experts and reliability was calculated by Cronbach's alpha coefficient (0.81 bp). To analyze the data, descriptive section (mean calculation, standard deviation and diagrams) and inference (Kolmogrov-Smirnov and Kovaris (Ankova) were used using SPPSS26 software.
Results: Cognitive rehabilitation of computer helper affects the neurological silhouon of gifted students of gifted special schools in Sanandaj. And it's increased memory.
Conclusions: The results of this study show that talented students with learning and attention problems, unusually, often pay attention to significant problems at educational levels, because the complexity and volume of information can be overwhelming. Computer cognitive rehabilitation programs in this field can also be one of the appropriate ways to teach such cognitive abilities to gifted students.
Because it can be said that in computer-friendly cognitive rehabilitation programs, by providing targeted and continuous exercises in a specified period of time in order to strengthen each component of executive function, working memory, sensory function, linguistic function and processing speed, the field of stimulation and change of areas involved in the brain with relevant cognitive skills has been provided and improved the activity of neurons and regeneration of connections in the disciplines of dendritic and synaptic damages.
The conclusions showed that cognitive rehabilitation of computer helper has an effect on neuropsychological silhouon of gifted students of gifted special schools in Sanandaj. The results also showed that computer-helper cognitive rehabilitation increased (working memory, sensory function, linguistic function, executive function and processing speed).
